Kimberley Brew

GENERAL MANAGER

Kim has 20 years experience in the insurance industry. She began her career at age 17 working for QBE Insurance during the school holidays. The day after completing her VCE, she joined QBE full time.

After 3 years – and gaining a good understanding of the complexities of underwriting – Alan Wilson offered her the opportunity to join AWIB. 17 years later, Kim hasn’t looked back.

Kim holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), is certified as a ANZIIF Senior Associate CIP, QPIB and in 2005 won the Regional Insurance Brokers Association Norm Dyer Award of Excellence. She has also been a judge of the Fire Protection Industry Awards for the past two years running.

Kim assists Alan with his treasurer role at GERF and is an active member of the Regional Executive Forum for Gippsland and Latrobe Women in Business. She is one of the creators of AWIB’s Fire Protection Industry Insurance product of which she is justifiably proud.

Kim loves world travel, working out at the gym and relaxing with friends and family.

In 2012, Kim was invited to join the AWIB Board.
